The Staff and Management are amazing, friendly and so helpful. Thank you for making my daughters 10th perfect. It is so great that you offered private bookings cause when there is too many parties happening at once it can be overwhelming. Thank you so much to the sweet girls who helped me so much with everything, you girls are amazing. Epic offers so much for any age, from our little guest to the adults, everyone had a blast. VR was a hit for sure. Thank you for everything will be recommending you guys to everyone we know. we will be back for the next big birthday :)
The kids had fun however there was no staff in there except for popping in once in a while.. once accusing us if we paid or not (we obviously did) and we were not told that its only one hour of play time at the time we entered and paid. We were only told that after being there for a while and then staff randomly showed up to tell us we were over our time limit even though we were the only customers in the building. There is no where in the building stating its only one hour of play and when we questioned them about it they told us “its on the website” which is silly because it should be stated in the entranced where you pay! $12 for one hour is not worth the money.
Great place for games and we really enjoy coming here! The only thing is that it closes too early on Fridays. Many of us finish work around 7, and with the current 8 PM closing time we barely make it. It would be amazing if you could extend Friday hours until 10-11 PM — that would give us enough time to enjoy after work… especially in the winter?
I caution any family who is considering coming to this playground. My daughter was playing and almost got hurt with an uncovered broken metal that was exposed in one of the halls. She is small and was unable to come down. When I went to get her (even though adults are not allowed) I was shocked at what I saw. There were multiple exposed broken metals at various places which could seriously injure anyone. I was able to remove one of the metals. Unfortunately, when I showed it to the front desk. They didn’t even acknowledge the seriousness nor ask where I found it. They took it and threw it in the trash. This playground does not seem to take the safety or concerns of their customers with importance. With so many other playgrounds around, I strongly recommend anyone thinking about coming to reconsider until this location improves their safety inspections and protocols. Epic zone is a good play area but not for the walk ins. It is worth it when you celebrate a birthday party as you get laser tag for kids and adults. The play area itself is not as equipped as the other well known play areas in GTA so for the walk ins it is just okay. The adults can’t really accompany the kids inside the play area so all the obstacles are for the kids to clear. The adults can’t enjoy with the kids as other play area allow. Overall I will rate it 4/5 for the limitations.
My son had his 10th Birthday here during Step 3 of the pandemic reopening phase and I was so happy they were willing to take our party as many places were still not hosting parties. My son and his friends had a blast in the laser tag area and in the play area, they were all literally sweating! Only thing I would suggest is perhaps turn down the AC to be a bit cooler for them running around, but otherwise it was a fantastic easy going environment.
Arrived at epic play zone at 7:30pm after seeing it was open until 10pm on google and was turned away by the front desk (Owner) saying they decided to close early. Sign on the door says 10pm but summer may have extended hours. I guess July 20th does not count as summer & extend means I don’t want business! With customer service like this there is no point trying to attend. Owner Responded below. An indoor Facility shouldn’t be affected by heat and a thunderstorm? (BS)
