Tara came highly recommended, but when we went there last night (Nov 15th), it was like we were not invited. Who ever the CSR on cash was, he was pre occupied and didn't want to serve us. Finally he looked at us with the "wadda do you want look" We ordered chicken and beef on the rocks, paid our money, waited for our bland looking order, and left. It seemed like most other things we wanted were not available.
Food: The chicken shawarma wrap was okay. The ingredients were fresh and chicken wasn't dried out but wrap size itself was disappointing. I ordered a large wrap with all toppings and to date, this has probably been the skinniest wrap I've recieved from a taza xpress (and their competitors combined). When I say skinny, I mean I can wrap my hand around it and have my thumb and middle finger almost touch. And this was over 14$+tax ($16+ total). Was it worth it? Nope. A small wrap from shawarma alley for $10 probably weighs the same. Service: No comments on service as the person taking my order was new. Atmosphere: Restaurant was clean and looked basic like other locations.
I barely got 100 grams of meat in my "large" shawarma. No Hummus that I payed extra for and no half of the sides I said I wanted inside. They should care more for how much they are charging for what the customers are getting.
Found my NEW sharma go-to place. Best shawarma in Milton! A hidden gem! I've been looking for a good shawarma for a long time as the place I used to go to went way down on quality. Discovered this place Taza Xpress couple of weeks ago in a plaza on Bronte. The chicken sharma wrap is amazing - good quality meat & really fresh garlic sauce & toppings (I get it with just garlic sauce & onions, but there's more toppings to choose from), all toasted to absolute perfection. The fattoush salad was really fresh & perfect. The fries topped with garlic sauce was amazing too. Been there 3 times in 2 weeks already. The staff have been great each time.
Had a very pleasant experience. The staff is extremely friendly and I enjoyed the food, especially the fries. Probably the best I’ve had. Would definitely come here again.
Be careful when going here. I ordered chicken on sticks LARGE with ONIONS and sumac, the girl there gave me a REGULAR with NO ONIONS… that was probably a good $3 waste and will not be going back here again.
