Nothing was priced nicely everything there was easily $10-$15 for the same things sprit Halloween had for cheaper and as for the costumes I saw nothing new this year it was the same old usual outfits, I did like that somethings on the floor were still around unlike other Halloween places that seek out of their Halloween things for exp; face paint, prop swords…etc were there
Phoenix is AMAZING! I really hope the Store Managers and those at Corporate see this review because we were met with him as soon as we walked in. He was super friendly, professional and provided us with options on different balloon bouquet ideas for my daughters birthday. He also gave us the information for what would be more cost efficient and encouraged us to make the decision. He was not pushy at all but instead was so kind and knowledgable and interacted with my daughter (who was overly excited about the balloons). God bless him, Party City you are VERY lucky to have him on your team! Give the man a BIG RAISE!
I usually go to the Mississauga store but unfortunately I had to pick something up last minute and came across this short Asian lady there. I think her name was Leigh and she was extremely rude and mannerless.. I just want to ask the management why do you have such a racist and ill mannered employee? I can't think of one reason why you would keep her when she clearly lacks basic manners and professionalism. She was extremely racist to me with a very bad English. I asked about Ramadan stuff and she straight up said "we dOnt haVe ThEm yeT Go to sOme othEr stOre" and when I asked when will they stock them, she said "I DonT KnOw I aM buSy go taLK tO soMeoNe elSe". I will 100% avoid going to this store and put it on Milton's subreddit. You guys need to lay this Leigh off.
I went here to blow up some balloons for a birthday party, and I was going to blow up 8 balloons, but it cost alot than what I expected it to be. So I told the person who was working there, who was a white teen, to just do 4 instead of 8. He had to get a manager, who was a white woman, to take out the 4 balloons (or so I thought) out of my total, he didn't know what to do. But on the next day, another manager, who was not white, he was a blessing, told me that they still charged me for 8 balloons on the phone, I was pissed because I told that white dude if it was taken off and if he put 4 instead of 8, and he said yes. If it wasn't for the OTHER nice, professional manager, who isn't white, told me on the phone the next day, I would've been scammed. I hope they hire people who KNOW what to do! And seeing the reviews here, yeah, those white employees are not good at their job, they lied and charged me. I give it 2 stars for the other manager who kindly called and told me the problem.
I ordered balloons for my daughter’s birthday, and they blew up a number 1 instead a of a number 2. When my husband went to pick up, they refused to change it to the 2 until he paid for the additional balloon. When we ordered I clearly said 2, and they even brought the number “2” balloon to my pile of balloons. I guess because someone on their end made an error after the fact it becomes our problem? Not my first bad experience at this location either….Ordered balloons for a bridal shower, and when arriving for pick up at the scheduled time, we had to wait 2 hours for the balloons. I will never be purchasing anything from this party city location again!
I trusted them to get one item right I ordered online, and they blew it. It took so long to get here that I no longer have the time to return it. Thanks for messing up Halloween for my child. Going to now butcher what you did send me to attempt to make it kinda look like what we ordered. Going back to Spirit Halloween from now on. They may cost more but at least you get what you ordered.
