Best halal meat shop in the area. The owner is super helpful and respectful. I can see people saying that the prices are high, but the reality is that this is a higher quality meat shop and the prices are great for the quality. Their lamb is the only lamb that I've had that didn't taste gamey (just like home) in Canada after living here for 17 years. Everytime I go there, the owner makes sure he gives the best cuts and everything is fresh - never frozen. I would actually pay more for such quality!
The owner’s attitude is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. His meat prices are significantly higher than other stores, and the way he treats customers likely explains why the shop is usually empty. I recommend buying your meat elsewhere; you’ll get better service and pay much less.
Recently visited and still can't believe I didn't know about this hidden gem. The butcher was incredibly friendly and helpful, even though I walked in with a massive order he was able to provide everything I needed on the spot, including shishtawok (perfectly marinatd), chicken wings, prime rib steak, lamb, beef ribs. My only regret is not also trying the kofta after reading some of the other reviews. Amazing service and top-notch meat, found my new favorite butcher.
Kawthar Halal Meat & Market is hands down one of the best places for fresh, high-quality halal meat. The cuts are always clean and exactly the way I like them. The gentleman behind the counter is a pleasure to deal with and clearly knows his craft. It’s a no-nonsense place with excellent meat and its own unique charm. Definitely recommend — though he could calm down a bit and be more patient with customers!
Very good shop for all meditreranean products and halal meat ! They have marinated meat and chicken , ready to cook as well!! Tried the chicken Tawook and Syrian shawerma and they were delicious !! Excellent customer service too! Highly recommend this place.
