Copying my review from Carstar 401: I went to carstar to fix damage to my car after an accident. It was a minor repair job that needed the front bumper to be repainted and they did a good job fixing it. I'm taking off stars because of a bunch of issues showing they don't really care: 1) I had jumper cables in my back seat when I dropped the car off. When I picked up the car, the cables weren't there. I've been calling them and messaging them for over 2 weeks and nobody can get me my cables back. First they claimed the cables weren't there. Then they sent me a photo (which they claimed proved the cables weren't there). I pointed out the cables in that photo, and they said they'll look again. I reached out again and they said they'll have the manager contact me. It's been 2 days and still nothing. Every contact here was initiated by me. All this over 35 dollar jumper cables... Just buy me new cables if you misplaced mine and can't find it. 2) The "detailers" left a water stain on my leather and I had to clean it up by myself. The inside of the car was already clean and they didn't need to touch anything there for the repair, so they just made it dirty for no reason. It didn't look any cleaner than when I dropped it off 3) They consistently spelled my wife and I's name wrong in their automated messages. They have everything in writing so there's no reason that needs to happen. 4) During the repair, I had a rental vehicle. They told me to drop it off at the Carstar Milton location and they'd return it for me. I just found out that 3 weeks later they didn't return it, and the rental agency called me to get their car back.
Great service, great staff. Direct, to the point, laid out exactly what was needed and what I was to expect. They completed exceeded all expectations both on Quality and Timeline. No question, this place has been overhauled and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Very poor customer service, no explanation, once ask explanation, got the answer very rudely. Used the words which all are very unprofessional during the conversation. Definitely not recommending, wish you all good luck in future.
so disappointed, i drop my car there as the insurance company recommended the place as a preferred garage, the damage in my vehicle a minor dent in the front right corner, a repair that should take a couple of days was delay by the shop for a month, they supposed to replace parts that where not even damage, i have a previews estimate by a reputable garage in Milton that works fo Mercedes Benz an they estimated the damage for 1700.00 tax included, Car Star issue a bill for almost $5,000.00 dollars, the problem is not even that they are scamming the insurance company but for that price you will hope to get a really good job, they did drop the car at the rental company and nobody from CarStar was there to deliver, explain the repair and give my the related paper work, i have pictures and a video that clear shows the head light before and after the a repair and they look and show the same marks , the paint job is so bad that they paint over the moldings and you can see the marks that the masking tape left in the front bumper that was not even removed , from the vehicle, so sad to see that the corruption is not just thing of third world countries and that the reason we pay high insurance premiums is due to the abuse and corruption in body shops as this one.
