I took my VW SUV to Midas to have the brakes changed. The owner, Asim, was very professional and completed all four brakes in great time and they also mentioned everything that was good with my vehicle, instead of always just hearing what's gone bad. Highly recommend this shop—the mechanics are top-notch.
I had great experience with them, i had some issue with my car as it was fish tailing from rare end on bumps. They did test drive and found out the issue, it was rectified at a reasonable price. They were so honest in guiding me. I told them that my car dealership asked for brake pads changed and they said its still good enough for another 8 to 10K Kms. I liked their fast service, honest staff and reasonable pricing. Would highly recommend.
Felt like I was being scammed. I had a gut feeling something was off, so I took my car to my trusted mechanic instead. While the Midas assessment was mostly accurate, they tried to upsell me on things I didn't need... like a full brake replacement and an oil change, even though I had just changed my oil 2,000 km ago and replaced my brakes last year. Midas quoted me $1,500, while my mechanic did the necessary work for $600 and gave me free wipers. Safe to say, I won't be going back...and I definitely won't recommend the Milton location (or any Midas, really). Instead of taking the time to properly clean and service the brakes, they jumped straight to a full replacement.
They are quick and extremely fair. I really appreciate that they tell me what really needs to be done and what items I can hold off on. As the owner of a ten year old car I don't want to spend too much in case it "dies", and these guys are honest and give really helpful advice. Thanks!
Waheed Sahab and team are professionals. Went to check my Toyota Highalnder Parking brakes which was making noise, they found brake cables were the issue. He explained me in detail taking full responsibility of their work plus an year warranty. If you love your car visit them, with a peace of mind. Rates are reasonable.
